How long is a boxing round?
Three minutes, in both professional and elite amateur boxing, with one minute of rest between rounds.
What is the ten-second warning?
A clapper sounded ten seconds before the bell, so corners and fighters know the round is closing. Cornerman sounds the same wooden clapper and turns the clock yellow at the same moment.
How many rounds is a professional fight?
Twelve for a world championship. Four, six, eight or ten is usual below that, depending on the fighters' experience.
