Questions

How long is a wrestling match?

Six minutes in freestyle and Greco-Roman, split into two three-minute periods. Six minutes in high school folkstyle and seven in college, split into three periods.

What is the difference between folkstyle and freestyle timing?

Folkstyle runs three periods and freestyle runs two. The total is close; the shape is not.

Can I run a whole practice off this?

Yes — set the live-go length and the rest, put it on the wall and leave it. Nobody has to hold a stopwatch.

Ask your coach to put this on the gym TV. It is free, it works on anything with a browser, and it runs on its own once it is up.

Gyms that want their own name, logo and colors on it instead of ours pay $99 once — no subscription, no per-screen fee. How that works →
